Manufacturers Need to Offer a Better Solution for Restaurants

Restaurants want to do better for their customers — including fixing their wobbly tables — but manufacturers need to offer them a  solution.

I recently came across this question on Quora.comWhy is it so hard for restaurants to get tables and chairs that don’t wobble?

One user supplied this answer: “Because manufacturing isn’t perfect and floors generally aren’t either. Materials fatigue over time. Use cause deformation of metal and creates “play” in the connecting points of the furniture. Plus restaurants have a budget they need to take into account when purchasing equipment.”

This weekend, a friend of mine sent me a picture from a mom-and-pop diner she frequents. The diner serves great food in retired train cars. And it has wobbly tables with napkins under the feet as a makeshift “solution.”

According to my friend who is a regular, the owner genuinely cares about his customers. But to the point of the Quora user, a diner like this does not have perfect floors or a large budget to buy new tables.

That’s where manufacturers need to fill the gap by offering an affordable and practical solution. And I can help.

As a natural problem-solver, I have developed and patented STABLZ™ Tap to Adapt™ Technology, which is just what restaurants need to provide wobble free dining.

I’m ready to partner with a manufacturer to create new, wobble-free table legs that can be attached to the tabletops that restaurants already own for a cost-effective and easy solution to a common problem.

STABLZ for Planter Gardening

Gardening Season is Here, STABLZ is Here to Help

It’s time to start planting produce, and if you are lucky, you have a big yard to plant your garden. But many people with small yards or those who only have patios or balconies save space by planting herbs and vegetables in elevated planting boxes. Other people like them because they make gardening easier.

I have a friend whose house is built on a slope. No matter what she does, she’s dealing with uneven ground. She likes the look and convenience of the elevated planter boxes (and the fact that they will save her back), but with the ones currently on the market, there is no way she can put them where they need to be to the best exposure to the sun.

When I see a problem, big or small, I want to solve it. This is one problem with a simple solution — STABLZ™ Tap to Adapt™ Technology.

An elevated planter box with STABLZ™ Tap to Adapt™ Technology could be used on sloped yards or uneven patios because it’s adaptable to any terrain. And it’s easy to adapt with just a tap of the foot.

I’m here to give your consumers a better experience and give you an advantage over the competition. What are you waiting for?

HRO Antenna Tripod Bases

Consider This: STABLZ Portable Freestanding All Terrain Antenna Masts for Radio and Cellular Communications

4G Band 28 Yagi by IG user simonsshaw

4G Band 28 Lightweight Yagi by simonsshaw, who gives credit to vk5dj.com for the calculator used in the design.

We recently had a conversation on Instagram with a ham radio operator (HRO) who is building this 3-element mini yagi for 4G Band 28. He reports that while it works fine on the ground, he also knows full well that height is might when it comes to cellular reception. The antenna is light and short enough to be mounted to a pole, but it has been his experience that mounting it on a tripod means he’ll also need to affix guy wires to keep it from being blown over by the wind. His ‘good enough for now’ solution for remote operation has been to mount everything on a pole and to hold the pole in place with his hand during use.

There must be a better way.

Tap to Adapt – A Competitive Advantage for the Right Radio Equipment Manufacturer?

Knowing that 4 legs are better than 3, can STABLZ Technology demonstrably improve how far an HRO can elevate his or her antenna without requiring the additional effort of carrying and installing guy wires for temporary remote operations? By incorporating Tap to Adapt technology, a radio equipment manufacturer could be the first to offer their customers something better than the ubiquitous tripod kits that are available today. Imagine a freestanding antenna base that:

  1. Is easily set up to provide a wobble free footing on any terrain or uneven surface.
  2. Does not require guy wires for antennas up to a certain weight mounted at a certain height.
  3. Allows vertical adjustment of any square or round mast pole up to 4” in diameter.
  4. Is lightweight and easily folded into a compact size for portability.

STABLZ Vertical Support

STABLZ Vertical Support will Elevate Your Product!

I mentioned previously that I’m starting 2020 with three brand new STABLZ patents. This one
will really ELEVATE your product because it applies STABLZ technology to vertical applications
of ANY height! (See what I did there?)

STABLZ Tap to Adapt Technology has always featured a patented, game changing vertical
support, but with this new patent, we can make your product not only wobble free, but
vertically adjustable.

Now solar panels can be mounted on a base that can be raised above shade trees. PatioSTABLZ Vertical Support
umbrellas can be adaptable so even your tallest friend doesn’t bump their head on in — even though that’s never been a problem for me personally. Consider portable backyard lights, heaters, or fans. There are so many applications out there.

This new patent is applicable across the spectrum of industries, so NO MORE EXCUSES!

New Year, New Patents

Last year was a big year for STABLZ. We perfected our Tap to Adapt Technology with up-and-coming engineering talent at Otterbein University, and patented our game-changing vertical support, triangular in shape, that will adapt easily to any terrain (not just a perfectly flat showroom floor) with a simple tap of the foot.

But that doesn’t mean it’s time to sit back and relax — just the opposite! I am excited to announce THREE NEW PATENTS to start the year off right. These new patents will introduce STABLZ to a wider audience with new applications for our Tap to Adapt Technology.

These patents will allow licensees to retrofit tables with a horizontally adaptable leg configuration; to collapse legs to make products more portable; and to apply our technology to more vertical applications of any height.

I’ll give more details about the new possibilities these patents create in the future, so keep an eye out — big things are coming!

Show your thanks for your customers this year by giving them a wobble free experience.

If your company’s products are elevated off the ground, STABLZ™ can be engineered to your needs and provide your customer all terrain convenience.

Several designs are prototyped, tested, and ready for market. Tap To Adapt™ technology can be scaled from a couple of inches to stories high. To learn more about STABLZ products and licensing opportunities, visit taptoadapt.com or contact me at gary@taptoadapt.com or (770) 315-1482.

Wobbly table with napkins

Why Are There Wobbles?

My buddy sent me this picture with this message:

“While traveling last month, I spotted an uneven restaurant table in the wild. They were using
their menus and napkins to level it out. Classy!”

Wobbly tables are everywhere! But why?

Well, it’s simple: engineers create products for flat surfaces. Tables, grills, sawhorses,
playground equipment — they are all designed to be used on flat surfaces. That’s why they look
great on a showroom floor, but when you get them to your patio, deck or backyard, and it’s a
different story.

The world isn’t flat! And it’s unrealistic to think that surfaces are, too!

Why don’t STABLZ products wobble? I thought you’d never ask!

I approached some engineers with the idea of designing for ALL TERRAINS. I patented STABLZ
Tap to Adapt Technology, which replaces four legs or pedestal leg supports with one or two
triangular leg supports. Each pivots on a plane that adapts to any terrain with a simple tap of
the foot.

The best part? None of your competitors have this new technology, which gives you the edge in
your industry.

If your company’s products are elevated off the ground, STABLZ™ can be engineered to your
needs and provide your customer all terrain convenience. Several designs are prototyped,
tested, and ready for market. Tap To Adapt™ technology can be scaled from a couple of inches
to stories high. To learn more about STABLZ products and licensing opportunities, visit

Unsafe Deep Fryer

STABLZ is Not Just About Convenience

I talk all the time about the convenience of STABLZ Tap to Adapt Technology. Of course I do,
everyone wants convenience, and STABLZ products adapt easily to any surface with a simple
tap of the foot. No bending over or tools required — it’s that simple!

Something I don’t mention nearly as much is that it’s just as much about safety — something
that was on full display when I was at a buddy’s house watching football last weekend. This is
an actual picture of a deep fryer of someone I know, someone I consider to be a smart guy.
Well, most of the time.

According to the According to the National Fire Protection Association, deep fryer fires cause an
average of 5 deaths, 60 injuries and more than $15 million in property damage each year. If a
deep fryer is not flat, hot oil can spill from the fryer onto the burner, causing a fire, or easily tip
over, spilling the hot oil onto anyone nearby.

But safety isn’t just about game day turkey frying, it applies across industries.
What about you or your favorite contractor using a sawhorse with power tools. If that sawhorse
is wobbly, you could lose a finger or worse!

When your tire blows on that trip through the Great Smoky Mountains, are you going to feel
safe using a standard car jack on a hill? I wouldn’t.

And how about playground equipment? Children aren’t thinking about their safety when they
are playing. It’s up to us to make sure they are safe and carefree. Really, it’s a miracle I survived
the playgrounds of my youth!

It’s time for you to offer your customers something your competitors aren’t — the gift of
safety. STABLZ can give you that edge.

It’s Almost TOO Easy!

The other day I was showing a buddy of mine some new products from Affinity Tool Works
featuring my STABLZ Tap to Adapt Technology. I let him play around with a sawhorse.

“This is almost TOO easy!” he told me.

Is there such thing as too easy? I don’t think so. In fact, that’s the whole point of STABLZ. I
founded the company to make life easier for everyone from construction workers to weekend
handymen, from restaurateurs to flea market vendors, and from avid campers to soccer moms.

STABLZ Tap to Adapt Technology is applicable in restaurants, on construction sites, for
tailgating and camping — pretty much any product that is elevated off the ground.

What’s even easier? We have completed all the hard work! Working with engineers and up-
and-coming engineering students from my alma mater, Otterbein University, we have several
designs already prototyped and tested, ready for market. And we can customize new

LICENSING OPPORTUNITIES TO A WOBBLE FREE WORLD!
STABLZ is currently marketing to potential licensees across a vast variety of industries, who can
